Here- we have the Tharu culture in Nepal. A beautiful bunch of people who have been hardly done by, particularly in regards to slavery incidents. This doesn't tamper their strong understanding of other people, or the amount of love they're able to give. 

Slavery is being abolished and there is a drastic need for job and independence as these girls move out of the education system. For Freida Mountain, the energy, colour, love and skills were the beginning of what will be a dedication to these people. We now have the opportunity to work in trading to Australia from Nepal. A lot of fair trade research, justification and funding needs to occur, but I look forward to more and more involvement!
This environment acts as a stigma for my next range...

Melbourne's beauty is ironic in a sense that there is currently a strong attitude in regards to the damage we are doing to our mother earth... the feeling you get when you are on a congested city corner and the wind blows scum up your skirt... and then you look up and you see this... A temporary vindication of our presence.

Like a Virgin

The feeling of anonymity is prevalent in this first blog. So maybe it doesn't matter what I say...  So. Freida Mountain? Thats My Great Grandmothers name, one I only just found out. Its a funny generation by which the male side of the family dominates. So my poor wee Grandmothers background has been a little neglected. Anyhow- I love it. It feels balances, inspiring and justifiably me.

What am I? Who am I and what do I do? 
Fashion... another bloody fashionista!!!
